Post CNY Fever

Time passes really fast!! No more holidays for me=( I miss those food, yamcha session  with friends, gatherings, and of course some gambling session..HAHAHA * I’m not a gambler but just once in a while. AND I discover a new food in town (Taiping of course)

TaaDaa… Roti pizza!!! Roti canai ala pizza. Fyi, it exist for quite a long time but now only I have a chance to eat it as I’m not going back that often. It is surprisingly yummy and you have to call to book half an hour earlier. It is crazy because I never ever queue for food in Taiping! I thought it queuing for food only exist in KL. HAHAHA

After teatime, it is normal or it’s a ritual Taiping people will be hanging out in Lake Garden have some evening walk. Have you heard of Taiping Lake Garden? I am very proud that I’m born in a small town with one of the nicest lake in Malaysia with its iconic hundreds of years old angsana tree covering along the road.

It is a very nice cozy place to visit and have a picnic as those angsana trees are big enough to act as a sun shield so you won’t feel hot. It is a recreational park where people do exercise and taichi in the morning and evening. Not only that, the lake has other use that is for St. Valentine's day. Yes! You hear me right, St.Valentine’s Day is usually some Chinese ritual thingy regarded as the Chinese version of Valentine’s Day practices in Malaysia and Singapore(mainly). On that day, single women would write their phone number on the oranges and throw them in the lake. * call me maybe LOL. Single men then will try to collect as many oranges as possible and eat them. It is said that when men eat oranges, the taste will give them an indication of their possible love! Sweet represents a sweet and joyous love, while sour means a bad fate. But I never see men eating it..haha… That’s what people say. So, believe it or not, it’s totally up to you.
Okie, enough of the oranges, let’s see a few shots of me hanging out in lake garden * Thumbs up =)

jumping shot, anyone??
laughter is the key of happiness=)

whether old or young, they are hanging out here

you can even take a nice #ootd too =)
