Aging

Aging~~~
Chilling and drinking sessions in bars or pubs are my hangout nowadays. Well its not very often as last time too as i am lazy to step out from the house!! so pathetically lazy right!! I used to go clubbing quite often last time which is just one year ago! i always on the go when friends ask me to. *kinda addicted to it. i still remember i skipped lunch break just to nap after all the consecutive clubbing while i was working as part timer in Genting..lol.. Hahaha I love going to clubs  just to dress up, make up, drink and hit the dance floor like you own it and of course to get some attention from guys around you! hahaha so lame, but i guess some girls thinking the same too. So whenever my friends call and ask me to go for a chill out session I will just reject their invitation lol. I personally think it’s really boring to just drink, chill and chit chat… When you’re young you want get wild* like eat sleep party and repeat!
But now… Things have changed hahaha. The last time i went to ZOUK was probably last year around August. I felt so left coz i can't blend with the rest coz i used to my kaki clubbing which is now thinking the same too " AHH... IM GETTING OLD,CANT CLUBBING D" and I refused to drink because I get drunk easily after a long break of no alcohol and i scared nobody take care of me when im drunk, worry that i can't drive back home;( The problem of getting drunk is that i will throw up and sleep without removing any make up until im sober around 7am in the morning to remove it and shower then continue to sleep without lunch. It is so bad for skin, digestion and i got sore throat the next day><
Another thing is obviously beauty sleep. I used to sleep late in the morning 4-7am or no need to sleep at all and just straight to my morning classes. But now i can't do it anymore. Whenever i have not enough sleep, the feeling is like i'm going to die soon. * BATTERY LOW lol..This is what’s happening to my life now. I get tired or sleepy when the clock strikes 1am T__T * still not so aging yet hehe.. If I sleep at 2am-4am, the next day I will wake up at 12pm and still lazy on the bed and still feels sleepy.
hmmm... is it a symptom of aging?

I wish that I could be like the cool kids

Sometimes, will you ever feel envy to those kids nowadays? I always think kids nowadays are super duper lucky as they own branded stuff not before they even born. The clothes they wear, I’ve seen some babies wearing KENZO! I mean seriously? Adult KENZO t shirt would have cost at least above RM500! I have seen a lot as I’ve been following my bf for his friend’s baby fullmoon party, birthday party etc, they are wearing GAP, ZARA, BABY G watch and tones of toys at home etc.. *yup, this is what happen when dating an older bf where all his friends were married and have kids. I know every parents wants the best for their kids, I would say if my parents can afford such life, they would have give me that life too. Unfortunately, im not from a rich family and I have to work my ass off to get one myself and pay my own college fees. But im still proud to be their daughter to brought me to life even life is hard, everything is money as I am not the only child, good family environment, provide education, care and love. Well, we must be grateful as there are many unfortunate people out there that are a lot worst than us.
The thing that I will never understand is that to what extend do you spoil your child? I saw lot of young girls which are younger than me carrying limited edition branded bags like limited Chanel Boys and etc. How can such young girls can afford such expensive bag? It’s not like RM7k-8k, we are talking about RM14k-20k per bag! That amount of money already can pay at least 2 semesters of my college fees!
I know some of them are from rich families but all of them?? But I would like to know if there are parents who really buy those branded bags for them? Ahem, even my bf that could afford one, he wouldn’t buy me one, he said I’m only in my 20s, if I’m carrying a Chanel now, what would I’ve been carrying in my 30s? Hermes? It would be too spoilt to have those in such a young age!
Okie… its just out of my curiosity.. that’s all..
Also, kids nowadays are carrying an iPad or iPhone with them. It’s the latest edition OK.. iphone 6 and  6 plus, while I am still using iphone 5s. Well, I don’t really care about gadget that much as I’m not a technology savvy kinda person, but I still remember last time I feel kinda isolated because my friends were all having a mobile phone, my brother pitied me and bought a sim card for me using his old worn phone. Since then, I use his phone until I decided to buy a new phone from my part time salary. Too bad, I lost it while I’m working in Genting. Ever since then, I never bought any new phones anymore. Now I’m using my brother’s iphone.* yup,my only brother=)

My sister once told me, “You have to work harder to get what you want rather than sit here and envy other people’s life”. So, I worked hard to earn the money, and now this is where I got my comfort life, not there yet but I can pay my college bills, spending expenses without thinking I have no enough money to spend, I don’t have to ask people money especially my family. I struggled last time, but I’m a happy kid now=)

Manners Maketh MAN

While I was having dinner with friends, this topic came up to me as my friends are going to Europe for a holiday and was planning on what to buy. Of course it would be those luxurious brands. Well people would rather buy in Europe as it is cheaper compared to Malaysia! Besides that, they were saying chinese from China were the tourist spot in Europe and they buy A LOT!

Here’s the thing…

Luxury is a necessity in mainland China and motivations are based on functional utilities. It is true that Chinese from China has a powerful demand on luxurious item as they have the money to spend. Sociologists suggest that an increase in social capital boosts people make self-distinction. China has a big social class gap between the rich and poor. Rich people tend to be super rich while the poor are super poor. After the implementation of opening and reform policies in 1978, China’s economy moved from being centrally planned to market-oriented. Private sector began to flourish. People had different rates of increase of social capital, such as personal wealth, education resources and family resources. The needs of social distinction change social structures from a flat equal system to a vertical distinctive system. One of the ways to differentiate oneself in society was through luxury consumption for its rareness and superiority. However, sorry to say that majority of the Chinese are rude, just not because they are born like that but they are not being taught to be courteous.
While I was scrolling on Facebook, this article from bbc.com about social etiquette came to my attention and how it has become a STATUS SYMBOL. So now, even though you own a designer bags, fancy watches, jewellery, cars etc, all of that don’t matter anymore( perhaps we still need a few as self reward or self accomplishment) but it's now all about how you behave!

The article was about how China people behave. My friends visited China before and he said it was normal to talk loud in the public. So, they acted like a Chinese gangster-like throughout the holiday trip shouting in the mall like nobody’s business.. lol.. Nobody would ever think you’re psychotic. Fyi, if u acted like a very civil person, those local Chinese will bully you as an outsiders. Another thing is mostly all of them having a luxury item on hand. Can u imagine, the basic sales promoter in mall carrying an LV? For them, they would save months to own one. (*die die also need one) But yet, I wouldn’t confirm whether it’s authentic or not but still they are using luxurious brand as a status symbol. For a girl like me, I would have think an average class people carrying an LV, what about those rich ones. They would have opt for Hermes! Even in KL, I saw some carrying a Hermes already.

But here’s the thing, good manners plays an important role. If you don’t have manners, it would ruin your image and reputation even though you’re carrying a Hermes.  People would think that, that luxurious brand that you’re carrying doesn’t suit your attitude at all.

          # MANNERS MAKETH MAN -Harry-

MANNERS  MAKETH MAN’ which got me inspired from the Kingsman movie *btw great movie. In China, there are now classes that teaches you how to behave well to help improve your business, especially for the nouveau riche,  or to prepare you for holidays overseas so that you won't embarrass yourself for being rude inside the luxurious shops like pasar malam. They will teach you about how to raise your children, proper table manners on how to sit, how low can you bend, how not to break the wine glass if you are about to make a speech and how to pronounce luxury brands so that you won't embarrass yourself. Yes, I must learn to pronounce it right too, not only those Chinese. I myself think that, we must learn more and upgrade ourselves from time to time. There many to learn, including things like which fork to use for which food *especially fine dining where I always mistakenly use the wrong one! There would be 3 forks if not mistaken and spoons and all are for different type of food.

It is great that China now has this kind of class, to help educate people about manners. I hope Malaysia would come up with this concept too as not everybody knows which forks and knife to use during fine dining as they come in a few sizes! *typical Malaysian, just joking=)

Life 101: Enjoy your uni life while you still can :)

Life 101: Enjoy your uni life while still can
As you go through uni years, everything become upside down with piles of assignment after assignment, exams after exams, party after party. Everything last minute:/ But at the end of the day, we still live life to the fullest and enjoy uni life while we still can:)

Before you know it you are transitioning out of that chapter of life, awesome memories and friends for life are still stay deep inside your heart... However it won’t take you long for it to hit you, that although uni has given you the accreditation to start earning money, it did not prepare you to deal with the rest of the excitement life will throw your way.

Just like what my friends have making a fuss about it that they wish they were still studying without all the working headaches...

To be honest, I missed my uni friends a lot.. Deep inside, I still remember how we used to hangout during break times between classes.. We watched movies, talk crap, gossip, did last minute assignments together even we had to burn our midnight oil and etc... After I differ some courses, I'm way back behind them:( Now i am really felt the loneliness without them.. Mixing with the juniors really makes me feel old:( YES, oldest in the class:/

Besides that, after graduating from uni, it will be lesser and lesser time to meet up with each other due to time constrain.. Some might be busy with work etc, only some occasion that we make up our time to meet up such as birthday meet up..
Just last week, me and my friends managed to meet up! Like AT LAST!!! Many comments came out like WAH, you getting slimmer d, what's your secret?!!, WAH, your hair grow so long d!, who is your new BF huh??!!*sarcastic way etc etc.. Endless of chit chat and all... It's really a good catch up.. I really love it very much especially our long awaiting karaoke and spa session AND HOLIDAY TRIP TOGETHER!*planning still in progress. I really hope everyone of us could make time for it..
So yeah...

#TRUE FRIENDSHIP ISN'T BEING INSEPARABLE, IT'S BEING SEPARATED, AND NOTHING CHANGES :)

Bonding time with long lost friends

Wednesday no blue! It has been a long time since I hang out with my girl friends. Last Wednesday, me and my friends has decided to have our own girlies time in Feugo, Troika sky dining. It was a chilling place with a semi-outdoor dining facing the beautiful KL Twin tower.

us with beautiful background *perhaps beat Marinis

Service-wise, Troika Sky Dining is one of the best, people there were very friendly and helpful. Upon reaching I was ushered to our table where my friends were waiting. We also took a lot of pictures before KL Twin Tower's light shutdown. #girlsbeinggirls The place is actually a residential area so it closes early around 12.30am. The atmosphere is cooling as it is open air and I notice there was a lot of foreigner hangout out there. *perhaps you can find ur future mate if you're still single.. Lol

a lot of foreigners *ahem,..ang mo

We had a good chat and laughter and of course we won't missed out out gossip *secret. It has been a long time since everybody is busy with their working life.. It is very hard to to gather together when our schedule is not fixed. One of my friend is a flight attendance in MAS. So ahemmm... It is always a time we ask her to buy something she she fly to certain destination.. How good to have flight attendance as friends, right?!! Of course I'm got to pay her back, but the advantage of it is that u can own your desired product with a more reasonable price compared with local Malaysia price and some products that can't be found in Malaysia. It saves me a lot of $$$ in purchasing branded stuff!

Overall, it was a fun date and I hope it happens more often in the future! :)

 mandatory mirror selfie=)
